Deep Purple
Although pearls are often thought of as being white, they are in
fact found in a variety of different colors, and an almost infinite
number of shades. Colored pearls are just as natural as white
pearls, and are not the product of treatment. It is the nature of
the oyster and conditions in the water that determines the color
of a pearl. But from the gamut of colors that these enigmatic little
creatures produce, perhaps the lavender pearls are the most
interesting variety.
Lavender is a naturally occurring color in pearls and their intensity
is often so deep and rich that they appear to be purple in color.
Purple has long been an indication of royalty, nobility and wealth.
Lighter shades of purple are symbolic of spirituality and are
reminiscent of our deeper feelings.
The soft hues of Yvel’s purple pearl jewelry afford a very different
look from traditional white pearls and convey a more subtle casual
appearance, but at the same time retaining the very essence of
class and sophistication.
Royalty, nobility and wealth the very essence of class and sophistication.
